From the bride, Talia:
We live in Little Rock, Arkansas and began planning our wedding in Arkansas, but we were so overwhelmed with the large guest list, we chose to make our day more of an intimate event with just close family and friends. We decided to have our wedding in beautiful Keystone, Colorado.I loved my dress. While we were taking pictures, a little girl passed by and asked her mom, “Mommy, can I take a picture with the princess?” It was so sweet. We wanted a Christmas wedding, but we didn’t want the typical red and green scheme, so my mom created a “winter wonderland”. As I stepped into the room filled with our guests, I lost my breath and started crying. I looked back at my dad and his eyes were filled with tears too. For the reception, my mother made each guest a name plate the hung from the back of the chairs at dinner. By the end of the night, everyone was wearing the name plates around their necks. MEMORABLE MOMENTS
I am such a crier and I was prepping myself all day to try to keep my emotions together. I was doing really well until I saw my future hubby for the first time. My heart was filled with so much emotions, the tears started rolling!
As I walked down the aisle, the lace trim on the bottom of my dress got stuck to a pin in the floor that was holding down the runner. I realized that I was stuck and there was no way of just brushing it off. As one of my guests tried to get me unhooked, I said “everyone can laugh now!” a sigh or relieve fell on the room. Everyone laughed and we moved on.
