Stephanie & John | August 7th | Vail, Colorado
From the bride:
Since meeting on a ski trip in 2002, we have spent countless vacations in the Vail Valley. We enjoy the beautiful summer season just as much (if not more) as ski season. We truly believe, “The Winters bring you to Vail and the Summers keep you.”

We wanted all of our out-of-town guests to get the full flavor of summertime in Vail. We planned an entire weekend of festivities including hiking, white water rafting and mountain biking. My ride to the top of the mountain on the Gondola with my Mom and Maid of Honor was so very special and something we’ll never forget! Our happiness was palpable! It was the perfect beginning to a glorious day.Our intimate, non-traditional ceremony was held at 1:00PM on the Vail Mountain Wedding Deck overlooking Gore Range at Eagle’s Nest located over 10,000 feet above sea level. We hopped on our mountain bikes for some fun pictures with our photographer. After the ceremony, everyone released butterflies. We shared some private moments surrounded by wildflowers and butterflies. Truly magical! The inspiration behind our purple, fuchsia and red color palette came from what we see in Vail Village throughout the summer.
Given that we love to ski, we wanted to incorporate ski season into our summer wedding. Each table was named after some of our favorite ski runs. We have skied with many of our guests throughout the years, so there was special meaning attached to the table we chose for each guest. All of our custom ski run signs now hang on the walls of our Vail condo.
