A Picnic in the Tetons

From the photographer, Joe Geske:
We met with Brittany and Will during a recent trip to Grand Teton National Park to photograph their engagement session. Brittany and Will are a very outdoorsy, adventurous couple, and call Jackson, Wyoming their second home (their first being the east coast). Brittany knew a picnic with the Grand Teton mountain range as a backdrop would fit their personalities perfectly! Brittany works in hospitality, and Will works with the youth in Jackson and brews beer on the side – so bringing a 6 pack of their favorite local beers was a must for them. After their picnic on Antelope Flats, we made our way over to the famous “Teton Barn” for photos of sunset. Brittany and Will were so cute together, constantly making each other laugh. Brittany’s only request for her engagement session was that we highlight the Tetons, and I think we did just that for these two outdoorsy lovebirds!

A Bohemian Engagement in Boulder

We LOVE, LOVE this week’s romantic engagement shoot filled with wildflowers, mountains, water and a fluffy puppy!

From the photographer, James Moro Photography:
I photographed Maura & Andrew’s engagement portraits on a day of wildly erratic weather in Colorado. We had planned to do their shoot at 3pm, yet it dumped rain all morning long. By some miracle, the skies cleared up exactly around 3pm, and we proceeded as planned.  The clouds must’ve parted for this couple, as everywhere around us by a 40 mile radius, was under a severe tornado watch.  I actually came home after the shoot to discover that no less than 8 tornadoes had touched down in the surrounding plains. These two have a magic about them, and there’s a definite softness in the way he touches her that just lights her up inside and out–totally a photographer’s dream come true.

Mountain Engagement Shoot from Jordan Weiland Photography

We are thrilled to share this Rocky Mountain engagement shoot from one of our Luxe Mountain members, Jordan Weiland Photography {more info | website}.

From Jordan:
We traveled through Idaho Springs on our search for snow for Paige + Mitch’s engagement session. Starting up at Echo lake we trudged through the snow piles and found some amazing sun streaming through the trees. When I asked them how they met, Paige said that she first saw Mitch walking up to her friends at the beach wearing cowboy boots. She thought he was crazy. “Who wears cowboy boots to the beach?!” she laughed. But apparently Mitch’s humor won her over at some point down the road.
