Country in the Mountains
From the bride:
It snowed the weekend before our wedding, but somehow we ended up with sunny skies and 60 degrees! Although the golden Aspen leaves had disappeared due to the snow, the mountains were absolutely beautiful.
My bouquet was filled with white, red, orange and yellow orchids. The combination was absolutely beautiful! The wedding party was in charcoal – guys with yellow billy ball boutonnieres and girls with yellow, orange and red bouquets.
Every dress that I tried on, I evaluated what it would look like with my cowboy boots.
My dad and I laughed and had a blast walking down the aisle.
We were married outside under a wooden alter. The colors were fabulous. The ceremony was so heartfelt. I didn’t have a tear available because a huge smile was plastered on my face. I have just never been so happy.
Tom had the great idea to use an antique door from our dining room for the seating chart. The glass was broken up into 12 sections. We wrote our guests names in each section to match the floor plan. We had table numbers and labeled the glass with the corresponding number
My mom collected worn children’s cowboy boots (one pair were hers from childhood) and made arrangements with sticks and Billy Balls.
The cake was amazing – clean and simple white with a ruffle down the side (matched my dress) and splashes of yellow, orange and red.
