A Mountain Wedding Inspired by Telluride, Colorado

From the bride, Meghan… Joseph took me to Telluride on our first trip together and I fell in love with the town. Telluride brings this feeling of peace and relaxation, a feeling of just being centered, and it is an amazing creation! You have this little storybook town nestled in this canyon of lush green mountains and an amazing waterfall at the end of town.

 

 

I wanted a very natural style wedding to keep with the Telluride theme. I also wanted to make the day very personal. To bring in the natural feel, I included aspen trees and river rock. I chose a brown, cream, and green color palette with yellow accents.

 

 

We started our ceremony early so that it would end at sunset. The mountain view in Telluride at sunset is breathtaking and that is what we wanted our guests to see!

 

 

My most memorable moment was saying my vows with the amazing mountains in front of us.

 

 

My advice: Hire a coordinator, enjoy every moment, the good and the bad, because you will look back and love both.
