A Breathtaking Engagement Session on Mount Evans
From the photographer, Jennie Crate: We started the evening at Echo Lake to take some time wandering among the evergreen trees, taking advantage of the filtered sun. Then, we headed up the road to the Mount Evans summit, jumping out of the car anytime the light and the scenery inspired us. The rocky landscape of Colorado has a very barren, awe-inspiring power and its similarities to the New Zealand landscape featured in the Lord of the Rings trilogy became our inspiration for this shoot. We finished the evening at one of the most magical landscapes featuring rocks, glacial lakes, mountain goats, and the perfect setting sun.
