A Mountain Destination Wedding in Telluride
From the Magazine: Anne & Derek
Derek and I both live and work a considerable distance from many of our friends and family and extended relatives. We were concerned with “playing favorites” and decided to go with a neutral location that was secluded enough to be considered a real vacation. Telluride was the perfect mix of an exciting adventure and relaxing destination vacation in a place that is truly a piece of heaven on earth…

An Elegant Mountain Wedding in Beaver Creek
Sarah & Shane | August 27th
From the bride: Growing up in Colorado, my dream was always to get married in the mountains. We love to spend time in the mountains year-round, with Vail and Beaver Creek being our favorite mountain towns. I wanted a classic, elegant wedding with a mountain feel. I love flowers so, we incorporated flowers into every aspect of the day. Our color palette was a mix of coral and light pink with lots of greenery to contrast with the beautiful mountain views. We also included gold accents throughout the ceremony and reception. Read more below…

A Magical Colorado Ranch Wedding
Kate & Justin | June 11th
From the bride: We met in 6th grade and started dating our senior year in high school. Justin proposed on Christmas Eve, in the presence of both of their families. Our families are incredibly important to both of us, and we wanted them with us during this really special moment. We knew we wanted to be married outside in a mountain setting with a rustic elegance style with classic details. We chose a color palette of blush pink, navy blue, ivory and white.

THE GUEST BOOK
We wanted to do something special and personal for our guest book. My mom and I picked out fabric squares and put together a combination of patterns. We grabbed a fabric safe pen and asked our guests to sign on the squares. We are making a quilt out of the signed squares so we can always feel wrapped up in love and support of our favorite people looking back on our wedding day.

A Snowy Spring Wedding in Colorado
From the Magazine: Krystle & Ben
From the bride: We had planned for a green spring May 1st wedding. Originally, it was supposed to rain all weekend, so I came to terms with it and bought 50 umbrellas for our guests and was going to try to make the most of it. Those umbrellas were later returned after the rain changed to snow, which was a very unexpected but great turn of events.

A Stunning Autumn Mountain Wedding in Durango
Jenne Anne & Robert / October 1st / Durango, Colorado
From the bride: It was important to us that the wedding reflected our adventurous laid back spirits. We tried to implement our favorite things and places in Durango as well as: the outdoors, our pups, local beer, and good food. The day before the wedding we incorporated the hot springs, mountain biking, a SKA brew tour, and dinner at Steamworks. On Sunday, we had everyone join us for breakfast and bacon bloody mary’s. After, we rode crusier bikes along the river trail.
Our ceremony was located in one of our favorite meadows in the mountains. The fall colors were at their peak and most of the leaves fell from the aspens the next day. My husband crafted our incredible arbor and built it earlier that afternoon. We had a short intimate ceremony with our closest friends and family. Our pups (kids) were right beside us wearing floral collars so they didn’t feel left out. We chose to have our unity ceremony with two copper custom engraved mugs and a matte grey growler filled with our favorite craft beer.
Our reception was short and sweet. We ate and did our first dance, which was pretty magical, then we headed downtown. We were out on the town the whole evening in our wedding attire. I laughed and giggled the entire night!
