Bridal Shoot: Moments in Motion
Having just watched a marathon of our favorite show, So You Think You Can Dance, we were inspired to share this bridal shoot with dancer, Catherine Rosman, featuring boutique Australian wedding gown designer Gwendolynne. Cassie Sullivan of Photography with Cassie captured so many ethereal moments in motion. “The gowns were beautiful to work with,” says Cassie. “I wanted to incorporate their intricate feminine softness and flow into an elegant and gentle shoot.”

Styled Shoot: Woodsy Vintage
From the photographer, Amanda Lloyd Photography:
I’m over the moon about the details in this styled shoot! Washington has its own element of outdoor romance and is the perfect place for an outdoor styled shoot! Dyan and Daniel were celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary and were so excited to do this shoot! Vintage was the theme and local antique shops proved to be exactly what I was looking for! We went for a neutral color palette: tans, browns, grays and colors with a hint of teal and yellow. Let me say that the weather for our shoot was total CHAOS! It was sunshine, then pouring rain! Then, we decided to head up to Summit at Steven’s Pass for insanely gorgeous snowfall! It was DOWNPOUR snow! Dyan and Daniel were complete troopers and totally rocked the shoot! The weather was typical of Washington, and I loved every bit of it!
Zong Her of Her Couture designed the gorgeous veil and all the amazing flowers.
Dianne’s Delights in Seattle provided the seriously adorable cream colored ruffed cake, complete with a burlap banner style cake topper.
I collected all the fun vintage pieces from the Old Main Street Spanaway Antique Mall and all the unique wood pieces, including the chevron cake plate were make by a local wood shop, From the Wood Shed.
Take the Plunge!
As summer comes to a close, we hope you are having as much fun this holiday weekend as the bride in this trash the dress shoot.
From the photographer, Kathleen Atkins of JoPhoto
We met Sara at Bald River Falls in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, for her post-wedding photo session. Sara was up for anything in her gown, and we had a great time in the river. Sara even jumped off “baby falls,” a popular waterfall. After the shoot, Sara dry cleaned her gown, and there wasn’t a stain on it. She and her husband, Brad, are going to use the fabric from her gown to make a baby blanket for their first child.
Engagement Shoot: Photo Romance
We absolutely love the lighting in this outdoor e-shoot at the park. Dawn Sparks Photography beautifully captured the romance between this adorable couple.
Style Shoot: In the Orchard
The sun dancing off glittering white blossoms in this Utah orchard created an ethereal setting for this romantic styled shoot from David Newkirk Photography. Add in an adorable couple, creamy soft florals and a pink polka dot bow tie and our hearts are a flutter!

On the Ranch in Montana
Laura got married in Hawaii, but she was missing a part of home, Montana. So, a few months after the wedding, she scheduled a shoot with photographer Jacilyn M on her families ranch in the Bitterroot Valley. Laura wanted her favorite horse, which she had raised from a foul by her side along with a spectacular backdrop of mountain and pines. We’d say Jacilyn M perfectly captured Laura’s western roots!
Engagement Shoot: Fall Gold
This romantic engagement shoot from Pippin’s Pictures beautifully captures the allure of autumn in the mountains. In addition to the glowing backdrop of cottonwood trees, we adore the vintage quilt and ‘love’ pumpkin.
