A Campground Wedding on Big Bear Lake in California
Natalie and Tyler exchanged their vows at Cedar Lake Campground in an intimate and cozy amphitheater on Big Bear Lake. Natalie’s parents actually fell in love working as camp counselors at Cedar Lake, got engaged on the property, then purchased the campground. Additionally, the property served as the filming location for the original Parent Trap movie and episodes of Bonanza. With so much family history and childhood memories, Natalie could not imagine a more meaningful location for her wedding day.
Love all the pink-tinged flowers with greenery.

Mount San Jacinto Engagement Session
From the photographer, Randy + Ashley: David + Malia laugh when they tell the story of how they met because it’s definitely not something either one of them were expecting! If you ask David, he’ll actually tell you that he replied to Malia’s Craigslist ad! But the REAL story is that once upon a time, Malia was living in Long Beach and she and her roommate ended up needing to find a new roommate for the third room of their house. Initially, Malia wasn’t too enthused about considering having a guy roommate (because hello – that could be kinda awkward), but when David came over for the interview – he immediately won Malia over with his fun and outgoing sense of humor. After only a few weeks of living together and becoming good friends, they both realized they had feelings for each other and began to date … and now, here we are! They chose to have their engagement session at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway because it’s the spot where David proposed to Malia.
Beauty in the Mountains
After viewing these images, we are convinced that snow covered landscapes make the most beautiful backdrops! This snowy shoot in the San Gabriel Mountains from Dmitry Shumanev features a stunning gown from designer Jorge Manuel and gorgeous bouquets from Butterfly Floral Design.
Engagement Shoot: A Forest Romance
From the photographers, Shaun and Skyla Walton:
This autumn style rustic love shoot perfectly represents Jeremy and Audrey’s outdoorsy and vintage style. On a rainy day in Santa Barbara, we took out Jeremy’s Volkswagon blue bus for a photo adventure in the mountains.
An Unexpected Winter Wedding
Autumn & Mike | May 12th | Mammoth Lakes, California
Autumn & Mike envisioned their wedding day with blue skies and warm spring temperatures, but Mother Nature had different plans. A winter storm greeted the couple as they made their way to the top of the mountain to recite their vows. Autumn did not let the wind, snow and freezing temperatures deter her from sporting her strapless gown during the ceremony. Autumn & Mike embraced the unexpected weather and enjoyed every moment of their day!

Engagement Shoot: Autumn Romance
We absolutely adore this romantic engagement shoot by Joleen Willis Photography!
From the Photographer, Joleen:
Megan begin to fall for Wesley at an amusement park. She was fearful of the scary rides, when Wesley slyly offered relief by his hand to hold, and his strong frame to hide behind. Since that night of carnival rides, Wesley seemed to become a permanent fixture in Megan’s home. It became official when Wesley crafted a giant, hand-drawn sign, asking, “Megan, will you be my girl?” Since that day in 2006, they have been the constant in each others lives, even over YEARS of long distance. Wesley proposed on a trip down south, to the Boone Plantation, the setting of the movie The Notebook. Megan fumbled with setting the camera timer for a few candid shots, when Wesley insisted she give him a try. He stealthily set the camera to video record, as he approached Megan to pull out her engagement ring. Megan was still concerned with him ruining the timer-picture, as he shocked her by asking her to marry him. This engagement session was simply inspired by the changing of seasons, Megan and Wesley’s love for each other and PLAID!
