Rocky Mountain Wedding Inspiration
From the photographer, Haley Morgan Photography: Imagine experiencing the best moment of your life in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Being fully present with no distractions. Seeing your beautiful bride or your handsome groom for the first time, where time knows no limit. That is what Shannon & Addison dreamed of doing and we made it happen! Too often, the time you have with your beloved alone on your wedding day can be strained by time. Which is why Shannon & Addison decided they wanted to experience seeing each other before their wedding, so that they could truly soak up every minute of being together for the first time as husband and wife.
Shannon & Addison have such an adventurous spirit. They actually met while rock climbing in the Rocky Mountains. Their love for the Colorado Mountains is what inspired us to use the breathtaking backdrop of Brainard Lake in Ward, Colorado to display their love for each other. Shannon & Addison will be married in the stunning winter season of Colorado – the time of year when everyone is in the holiday spirit!
Our goal was to create a romantic atmosphere that would magnify their adventurous spirit while truly honoring the beauty of Colorado in this season. Winter is especially magical in Colorado, when the trees glitter and the foliage embraces the chill in the air. We captured this feeling with touches of gold, forest green, and warm reds.

A Sophisticated Fall Wedding Shoot at Denver Botanic Gardens
From the style team: Wilco Creative brought all the pieces of this beautiful day together by creating a wedding style that was classic and tailored. The inspiration came from the colors of a fig, the soft autumn weather, and a special vintage ring. To hail from Colorado calls for reckless abandon to embrace the fall season and celebrate marriage; one of the greatest events possible. There is something effortless and freeing about being able to traipse off wherever your heart leads you to share your vows and the mutual commitment of love. Surprisingly, one doesn’t need an officiant to get married in the beautiful state of Colorado. With the ease of performing your own ceremony, we still wanted to bring the touches of an important and tailored event. In fact, the simplicity of it all made our vision of creating a sophisticated fall garden wedding develop gracefully.
The bride’s dress was elegant with its simple lines and minimalistic embellishments. Her hair was effortless yet classic.
The bride’s ring is a vintage art deco engagement ring circa 1920 from Victor Barbone. The ring centers a box-set old European cut diamond that has a low profile that rounded out our theme with subtle elegance.

A Wedding Romance under the Cherry Blossoms
From the photographer, Caroline Ross: After the rainy winter season, the cherry blossoms bring a new life to Vancouver, engulfing the city in pretty pink and white flowers on every corner. We wanted to create a shoot that was fresh, pretty and romantic, inspired by the spring blossoms. Our backdrop was a weeping Benishidare Sakura cherry blossom tree at Van Dusen Botanical Garden.
The stunning cake features edible sugar flowers and soft watercolour edible art to mimic an English country garden in bloom!

A Modern Industrial Styled Wedding Shoot
From the photographer, Katie Corinne Photography: This photo shoot utilizes the clean cool grays of our space, an airplane hangar in Denver, while incorporating this year’s Pantone color of greenery for the floral table accents. Sleek black chairs, lanterns, plates and flatware frame the table and subtle copper and marble accents adorn the contemporary, industrial tablescape and invitations. Our lovely couple is styled in a modern boho look, our bride in a lovely Enzoani ivory beaded and embroidered lace dress finished with her hair in a braided faux -hawk. Our gentleman is wearing an Allure gray tux with sexy stubble and a coiffed man bun.

A Natural & Romantic Photo Shoot in Colorado
From the photographer, Sarah Porter Photography: Set against the backdrop of Castlewood Canyon my vision for this shoot was minimalistic, natural, romantic and intimate. The inspiration came from a song by Hillsong:
When the world caves in
Still my hope will cleanto Your promise
When my courage ends
Let my heart find strength
In Your presence
Let the ruins come to life
In the beauty of Your name
Rising up from the ashes
God forever You reign

Vintage Nordic Mountain Shoot
From the photographer, Suzanne Rothmeyer Photography: Our inspiration for this shoot was a combination of the natural beauty of the Cascades paired with elegant details, including vintage Scandinavian glassware and traditional food & drink. The Pacific Northwest has a strong Scandinavian influence that we wanted to highlight with the help of some amazing Puget Sound vendors, and to illustrate how even the most intimate celebration can be elegant and dramatic.

A Tuscan Romance Inspired Shoot
From Lindsey Dienstbach, Bello & Blue Events: Inspired by the always alluring Italian movie star, Sophia Loren, for this wedding inspiration shoot we set out to create a timeless, romantic and glamorous European affair. Highlighted with a few fabulous details, we curated a luxurious vibe, rich in color, to highlight the fall season, and feel like this celebration was straight from a castle in Tuscany. The beautiful Italian architecture and majestic setting of the Retreat at Solterra transported us from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to the heart of Italy.
We designed with a color palette of rich colors found in Italy’s wine region landscape. Deep reds, purples, greens, gold, and a pop of Tiffany blue that we found in an antique china pattern perfectly complemented the setting and the autumn season.
To help capture the essence of Italian glamour, our couple was styled to the nines. With the groom in the most dapper steel gray tux, the bride donned diamonds, fur, Louboutins, and a Kelly Faetanini bridal gown before changing into a poppy red Monique Lhuillier party dress, perfect for dancing the night away!
Our bride and groom arrived to their swanky soiree chauffeured in a restored vintage London Cab, and after dining al fresco, bid “Arriverdverci!” to guests, as they zoomed off on a cherry red vespa to Happily Ever After!
The wood feasting table-top featured custom designed menus and place cards, as well as cut crystal glassware, gold flatware, and the most beautiful mismatched teacups and china to add interest and detail making each place setting unique.
The elegance continued into soft seating vignettes accented by gold and crystal candelabras and to-die-for lush florals that included organic Tuscan inspired elements like real grapes, artichokes, and pears, in addition to an olive branch garland accented with deep-toned garden roses, anemones, and dahlias.

A Styled Mountain Elopement in Canada
From the photographer: Weddings at the heart of it, are most importantly about the bond between two people who are about to embark on of their greatest adventure of their lives. Sometimes, the simplest weddings are the most beautiful. When you realize all you need is the person you love, standing next to you. That is the real beauty. With the desire to be truly present with one another during your vows. No distractions from friends or family. Our couple decided to elope and be truly present for their special day. They hoped for an intimate and carefree ceremony, with their only distractions being the sounds of nature.
For the overall design, we allowed nature to choose the colours and tones for this wedding day. Drawing inspiration from the beautiful mountains of Canmore, Alberta and the turquoise river, the florals displayed a lovely combination of creams, ivories greens, and accents of dusty rose and sandy tones.
